‘We live for each other’ I would have never thought that five simple words could make such an impact on my life. This is the motto of my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. I say these five words on almost a daily basis but I have only recently stopped to think about the deep meaning behind them. ‘We’ can be used to describe a couple of people or an extremely large group. In this case the word ‘we’ is used to represent thousands and thousands of my ADPi sisters. Since 1851 women have been pledging themselves to Alpha Delta Pi. Because of them I no longer strive to do my best for just myself. I now strive to do my best for my beautiful ADPi sisters who have come before me and who will come after me. I strive to do my best for the letters that I wear. I know that I am part of something that is bigger than myself. I am a member in Alpha Delta Pi and I am blessed to be a part of such an amazing sisterhood. ‘Shining bright as diamonds, ADPi we’re ONE’ Pi love to all of my sisters across the country and remember that we are the First, Finest, Forever.
